My Journey into Ayurveda
As a child, my curiosity often led me to the backyard, where I would crush fresh green leaves on a stone, turning them into pastes and experimenting with natural creations. Little did I know that this playful connection with nature would one day shape my future as a Vaidhya (Ayurvedic doctor).
Growing up, I drifted away from nature, caught in the whirl of competition and academic pursuits. I realized I had a creative mindset, always adding my own twist to things. My dream was to become an allopathic doctor, but life had other plans. When I couldn’t secure admission to an MBBS program, I reluctantly enrolled in an Ayurveda college as a last resort.
Initially, I was resistant, even rebellious, toward Ayurveda—it wasn’t part of my plan. But as time passed, I started giving Ayurveda the attention it deserved. Reading ancient Samhitas and witnessing the profound healing effects it had on patients gradually sparked my interest. What began as reluctance transformed into genuine passion.
After earning my Bachelor’s degree, I sought to deepen my understanding of authentic Ayurveda. I chose the guru-shishya tradition and trained under the esteemed Vaidhya Sameer Jamadagni. Learning from him was transformative. He generously shared his wisdom and the knowledge passed down from his gurus. Under his guidance, I treated over 10,000 patients, witnessing firsthand the profound impact of Ayurveda on people’s lives.
For 1.5 years, I dedicated myself to serving and learning under my guru. Finally, with his blessings and encouragement, I set out to establish my own clinic, Trishikh Clinic, to carry forward our shared vision of healing and wellness.
Today, I am driven by the values and teachings instilled in me by my guru. With his guidance in my heart, I am committed to fulfilling my mission of bringing the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda to as many people as possible.
